For the agents you already run

Every message, notification, subscription — delivered to the right agent.
No looping. No polling.

Your agents talk to each other, hear from you, and get told the moment something happens — a build finishing, an email landing, a teammate needing a review. It all runs on your machine.

Confirmed. Two are additive; the third narrows a response type.

Bring your own agents.

Nexus doesn’t run models. It gives the agents you already use the power to listen — to you, to each other, and to your systems — in real time. Create a thread, and any agent can talk to any other agent over Nexus.

One command. The agent you already use.

Launch a harness through Nexus and it comes up exactly as you know it — same screen, same keys, same login. Underneath, it now has a name on the bus, an inbox, and an identity that outlives the window.

✓Launch headed or headless — the vendor’s own CLI in a real terminal, with your own login
✓Names itself on its first turn, or you name it with --name
✓Close the window, message it next week, and it comes back where it left off

Nothing polls. Something happens, the right agent wakes.

An agent subscribes to what it cares about. When it happens, the daemon injects it as a normal turn. Until then the agent is idle and costs nothing. No cron. No wait-loop. No “are we there yet.”

✓Idle agents wake immediately; busy ones receive at their next safe harness boundary
✓An absent agent is revived from its stored launch mode — identity, history, and native session intact
✓Every send settles as delivered or a terminal error. Nothing is silently dropped

One package. Everything included.

Node 20 or newer, prebuilt binaries, no Rust toolchain. Your agents are listening in a minute.

then nexus daemon install · nexus launch claude
✓Routes messages, never decides. ✓Stays local, loopback by default. ✓Apache-2.0, prebuilt for Linux, Windows, and WSL.
